INGREDIENTS
190 ml self-raising flour
125 ml sugar
2 TopLay eggs
90 ml milk
60 ml oil
3 tbsp raisins
3 tsp mixed spice
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the flour, sugar and spice to a bowl and combine.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, and eggs.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Fold in the raisins.
Grease two mugs and spoon in the mixture until they are half of the way full.
Microwave on a high heat for 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 minutes and enjoy!
To create the cross on the top of your mug cake, place two ribbons in the shape of a cross on top and dust with cinnamon. Remove the ribbons and you should be left with a beautiful hot cross bun mug cake.
