Classic Omelette

Classic Omelette

Omelettes are an easy and quick breakfast recipe. Add any fillings you prefer and get cooking!

  • 2 eggs
  • Butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms (cooked)
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup ham (sliced)
  • 1/8 cup (125 ml) grated cheese
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) pepper


Step 1

Whisk together the eggs and season with salt and pepper. Preheat a nonstick pan over high heat and add butter or margarine.

Step 2

Add the egg mixture and swirl the pan to ensure the bottom is coated completely.

Step 3

Once the omelette starts getting firmer, add your desired fillings on one half of the omelette.

Step 4

Gently lift the edges of the omelette. Flip closed and wait for the cheese to melt.
