SOUTH AFRICAN MIELIE BREAD!

INGREDIENTS
500 g self-raising flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 TopLay eggs
125 ml milk
30 ml oil
1 tin of sweetcorn
200 g cheddar cheese, grated
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Mix the self-raising flour and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Whip the TopLay eggs and oil together in a separate bowl.
- Add the milk to the wet ingredients and mix again.
- Add the sweetcorn to the wet ingredients and mix again.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mix and stir well until you have a doughy consistency.
- Scoop your dough into a non-stick bread tin.
- Sprinkle the grated cheddar on top of the mixture.
- Bake for 50 minutes at 180°C
- Let it cool down in the bread tin before serving.
